BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Technical Sales - Water Treatment, Industrial Engineering
Reporting to the General Manager, as our Account Manager, you'll manage a healthy mix of existing accounts and new business opportunities (approximately 70% account management and 30% new business). Working with engineers and manufacturing customers, you'll recommend specialist UV disinfection solutions that improve efficiency and protect critical assets.

As our Account Manager, you will:
·Develop new business opportunities whilst increasing revenue within an established portfolio of industrial customers.
·Build strong relationships with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals across UK manufacturing businesses.
·Recommend technical solutions that improve efficiency, productivity and operational performance.
·Manage the full sales process from enquiry and quotation through to negotiation, order and ongoing account development.
·Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM whilst identifying future growth opportunities.
·Work closely with internal technical specialists and supplier partners to deliver exceptional customer support.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Technical Sales - Water Treatment, Industrial Engineering
You will be someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships whilst growing existing accounts and winning new business. You'll be comfortable working with engineers and taking a consultative approach to technical sales. You will have experience within water treatment or UV technology, although we'll also consider candidates from a wider technical or industrial sales background.
You'll also have:
·Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions or industrial equipment into manufacturing, industrial or process-led environments.
·The ability to build credibility with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals.
·Experience managing your own sales pipeline and forecasting activity through a CRM system.
·Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and convert enquiries into orders.
