We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a £100m+ rail and civils scheme with significant construction elements. This is a permanent role offering excellent career progression within a leading infrastructure environment.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure programme, supporting commercial and contractual management across the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for cost control, contract administration, procurement, valuations, and supporting the commercial strategy.
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer contracts (primarily NEC, but JCT or other forms may also be considered).
Prepare and manage cost reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Support procurement processes and subcontractor management.
Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and claims.
Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.Requirements:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in rail, civils, or major infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (experience with JCT or other forms also considered).
Proven ability to manage costs on large-scale (£100m+) projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.What We Offer:
