We are looking for a Paint Sprayer to join a sheet metal fabrication business in the Stevenage area, the standard working hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with overtime opportunities available which are paid at T1/2, the annual salary will be range between £31,000 - £34,000 per annum (hourly rate of £15.00 - £16.50 per hour) DOE.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who has around 3 years experience (if not more) in a similar job, and they are keen to interview ASAP.
What You Will Do:
Prepare materials for painting, including cleaning and masking, to meet customer specifications.
Operate various coating equipment, including guns and powder reclaiming systems, ensuring optimal paint flow and viscosity.
Perform visual inspections to ensure coating quality and bake parts at appropriate temperatures following defined procedures.
Complete jobs on time and maintain high-quality standards.
Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards throughout the facility.
Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure consistent performance.
What You Will Bring:
A strong background in powder coating and industrial painting.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to read and mask parts from technical drawings.
The ability to work independently and manage tasks without daily supervision.
Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in painting and coating techniques.
