As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join our expanding team in Tunbridge Wells

About the opportunity:          

Working as part of our people services team, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service to a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors. This is a client-facing role where you will build strong relationships, provide expert payroll support, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

In particular, you will:

Assist with the onboarding and implementation of new client payrolls.
Deliver a fully managed end-to-end payroll service, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
Process payrolls for multiple clients and pay frequencies.
Administer workplace pensions and auto-enrolment requirements.
Liaise with pension providers and maintain pension records.
Handle payroll-related queries from clients and employees professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and best practice.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR, employee benefits, and wider people services teams.This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop broad payroll expertise within a growing business. Who we are looking for:

Experience in payroll processing and administration.
Sound knowledge of current payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Experience managing end-to-end payroll activities.
Understanding of workplace pensions and auto-enrolment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proven customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using payroll software packages.
A positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
