A collaborative North London firm is seeking a reliable, detail‑driven Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team on a part‑time basis (3 days per week). You'll play a key role in delivering full start‑to‑finish payroll services for a diverse client portfolio, working closely with colleagues to ensure every payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities
Start‑to‑finish payroll processing - Manage weekly, monthly, and fortnightly payrolls across a range of clients.
Data validation - Collate, check, and input payroll information with precision.
Client communication - handle payroll queries professionally and promptly.
Compliance checks - Ensure all statutory obligations (HMRC, pensions, SSP, SMP, etc.) are met.
Team collaboration - Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth, accurate payroll cycles.
Reporting & documentation - Produce payslips, reports, and payroll summaries for clients.
Pension administration - Manage auto‑enrolment tasks and monthly submissions.
Experience & Skills
Payroll experience - ideally using the Sage software
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments.
Confident working with multiple deadlines and varied client needs.
