How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An established professional organisation is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to support the delivery of a high-quality people service across a broad range of HR activities. This role offers significant flexibility, varied responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to employee wellbeing, engagement and organisational development initiatives

    Description

    Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities.
    Providing HR advice across employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
    Supporting payroll, pensions and benefits administration.
    Maintaining HR systems, employee records and workforce reporting.
    Producing HR data and management information.
    Coordinating learning and development, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
    Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
    Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.Profile

    Proven HR generalist experience.
    Experience managing employee relations cases.
    Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
    Experience using HR systems and producing reports.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
    CIPD qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.Job Offer

    Day rate of £175 per day, dependent on the level of experience.
    6 month contract with a not-for-profit organisation in London.
