Sales Executive
Hays Collections Ltd – Crawley
£26,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience + Bonus
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm

Hays Collections Ltd is a growing B2B debt recovery business based in Surrey, supporting companies across the UK with the recovery of unpaid invoices and commercial debts.
As we continue to expand, we are looking to recruit a motivated and confident Sales Executive to join our team.
This is a varied role focused on supporting the continued growth of the business through new client acquisition, outbound business development and the management of inbound enquiries.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with businesses that may benefit from our services, while also supporting the wider sales team with new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Proactively contacting prospective clients through telephone, email, LinkedIn and other outreach channels
* Identifying new business opportunities and generating qualified leads
* Speaking with business owners, directors and finance professionals
* Managing and responding to inbound sales enquiries
* Following up with prospective clients and maintaining strong relationships
* Clearly explaining our services, fee structure and debt recovery process
* Supporting the wider sales team with business development activity
* Maintaining accurate records of leads, conversations and follow-up activity
* Working closely with our collections team to understand client requirements and suitable opportunities
We are looking for someone who is confident, professional and comfortable communicating with businesses at all levels.
Previous experience within sales, business development or a B2B environment would be advantageous.
Experience or knowledge of the construction industry, trade sector or businesses operating within construction and associated trades would be particularly beneficial, as a significant proportion of our client base operates within these industries.

* Professional, personable and able to build strong relationships
* Organised with excellent follow-up skills

* A strong verbal and written communicator
* Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
