A welcoming Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September on a permanent basis. They are looking for a motivated teacher who can deliver creative lessons and support pupils through this important stage in Key Stage 1, including preparation for KS1 SATs.

The Role:

Full-time Year 2 Teacher position

September start

Permanent contract

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Support pupils in preparation for KS1 SATs

Work closely with colleagues and leadership to ensure strong pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1

Strong knowledge of the UK Primary curriculum

Passionate about supporting early learning and pupil development

Strong classroom management and communication skills
