We’re partnering with a prestigious Security client, the UK’s leading family-run security provider, to recruit a Technical Tutor at their Southwest London training academy. Technical Tutor Key Responsibilities
* Deliver practical and theory-based training in fire and security systems, aligned to the FESS Level 3 standard
* Develop engaging course materials, including classroom presentations and online modules
* Coach, mentor, and assess apprentices through practical workshops and written assignments
* Collaborate with the management team to meet academy development goals and quality standards
* Liaise with external clients, awarding bodies, and recruitment partners to maintain compliance and maximize learner success
* Provide career advice, support apprentice recruitment, and promote commercial training offerings
What We’re Looking For From the Technical Tutor
* Proven experience installing or servicing fire and security systems
* Strong technical background aligned to Fire & Security Standards (FESS)
* Excellent communicator—comfortable presenting to groups and writing learner documentation
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with virtual training platforms
* Highly organised, methodical, and able to balance competing deadlines
* Passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to develop talent
