Job Description
We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team at our Deeside site on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.
As the Compliance Coordinator, you will assess Health & Safety in the warehouse and contribute to a safer working environment ensuring that all company and customer's required standards are maintained and monitored.
Key Duties of a Compliance Coordinator:
Ensure all training records and safety documentation are maintained accurately, and in line with legislative and company requirements.
Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP), to ensure a consistent safe working environment for all company employees, contractors and site visitors.
Regularly audit the SMP for compliance, and update accordingly to ensure the alignment of all legislative and company requirements are adhered to.
Assist in the co-ordination and implementation of training and processes which relate to Health & Safety and Food Safety (BRGCS) programs for the site.
Participate and assist the site management team in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, and corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure all site inspections are completed in full, and on time.
Ensure all site safety boards and communication zones, including, but not limited to: Health & Safety Policy, Insurance Certification, Site Health & Safety minutes, Site Rules, location of First Aid are all maintained and current at all times.
Ensure that a high standard of training, BRCGS compliance and Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment.
Qualifications
Computer Literate in Microsoft suite.
Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation is advantageous.
Interact and communicate effectively across multi-functional depots/departments.
IOSH qualified desirable.
An organised and methodical approach.
Experience in a similar health and safety role.
Effective Communication skill.
