What's involved?
Ensuring the restaurant is fully stocked and prepared ahead of service
Providing professional and attentive wine service throughout the guest experience
Developing detailed knowledge of the wine list and beverage offering
Assisting guests with wine choices and making appropriate recommendations
Supporting wine tastings and training sessions
Maintaining wine service equipment to the highest standard
Being aware of bookings, guest preferences and special requirements
Supporting the wider front-of-house team with beverage knowledge and service
Maintaining consistently high standards throughout every service

We're looking for a Commis Sommelier who has:
A genuine passion for wine and fine dining
Previous experience within a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment preferred
A strong desire to learn and develop their wine knowledge
Excellent communication and guest service skills
A keen eye for detail and a professional approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ambition to build a career within fine dining
