Secondary Supply Teacher Requirements
* Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
* Ability to confidently deliver lessons across a range of subjects, following school planning where provided
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A flexible, adaptable and positive approach to teaching
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Teachers UK
The Successful Secondary Supply Teacher Will
* Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
* Follow lesson plans provided by the school or confidently manage general classroom cover
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments
* Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensure pupils remain engaged, motivated and on task
* Provide feedback to school staff on pupil progress and behaviour where required
* Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school staff
