The school’s mission is to empower learners to achieve and flourish together into confident, creative and resilient individuals. They actively work with senior leaders, parents and governors to ensure their aims and objectives truly reflects their shared values and aspirations.
The Primary School are looking for a strong Teaching Assistant who is able to get stuck in with the children and have the patience to deal with children that have challenging behaviour. You will be expected to build trusted relationships with the pupils to understand their needs in order for you to tailor your teaching style to best support them. The role will develop your experience working within a fast pace and unpredictable environment and will be a great opportunity for you to add to your CV.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting
Experience working with ALN (not required but preferable)
Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
A caring, positive approach to working with young children
A good knowledge of the Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
