We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established property maintenance contractor for an experienced Electrician to join their growing team. Working across occupied and void residential properties in Tonbridge and surrounding areas, you will carry out a variety of planned and reactive electrical works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician with experience in domestic property maintenance who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Electrician - Kent - To start ASAP

* £40,000 basic salary

* Company van

Key Responsibilities

* Full and partial domestic rewires (surface and concealed)

* Electrical installations within kitchens and bathrooms, including cookers, showers, sockets, lighting and extractor fans

* Installation and maintenance of heating controls and electrical components for wet heating systems

* Consumer unit and distribution board replacements

* Installation of SWA sub-mains and tails

* Installation and maintenance of domestic fire alarm systems

* Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

* Testing and inspection of electrical installations

* PAT testing of company-owned properties and equipment

* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently

* Complete all certification and job documentation accurately

* Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health and safety legislation and company procedures

* Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied homes

* Undertake occasional electrical works within company-owned commercial premises

Essential Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

City & Guilds 2391, 2395 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification

18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations

Category B Asbestos Awareness

Face Fit Mask compliant (clean shaven or willing to use specialist PPE)

Full UK Driving Licence

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
