Salary: £28,411 + OTE £45,000 (pro-rata)

Our client is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their employer engagement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional who enjoys developing relationships, generating new business and achieving targets.

Working closely with employers across the region, you will identify opportunities for apprenticeships, commercial training and workforce development solutions while building a strong pipeline of new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Prospect, generate and convert new business opportunities

* Develop and manage relationships with new and existing employers

* Conduct employer training needs analysis meetings

* Promote apprenticeship programmes and commercial training services

* Deliver presentations and tailored solutions to employers

* Negotiate and secure business agreements

* Manage employer accounts to maximise repeat business

* Support networking events and employer engagement activities

* Maintain accurate CRM records and reports

* Work closely with internal teams to deliver employer requirements

* Monitor labour market trends and identify opportunities for growth

About You

* Level 3 qualification or above, ideally within sales or business

* Level 2 English and Maths

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Proven experience in business development, sales or account management

* Strong networking and relationship-building skills

* Experience achieving and exceeding sales targets

* Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills

* Knowledge of apprenticeships, funded training or the FE sector would be advantageous

* Self-motivated with a proactive and organised approach

A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required for this role.
