Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Temporary Recruitment team. This role is responsible for managing and growing a temporary staffing desk by developing strong client relationships, sourcing high-quality candidates, and delivering outstanding recruitment solutions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent commercial awareness, and consistently provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
* Develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, networking, and referrals.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
* Conduct client meetings to understand workforce requirements and provide tailored staffing solutions.
* Negotiate terms of business, rates, and service agreements.
* Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase temporary staffing volumes.
Recruitment & Candidate Management
* Source, attract, interview, and assess candidates for temporary assignments.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of available temporary workers.
* Match candidates to client requirements based on skills, experience, and availability.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement.
* Ensure all candidate compliance, right-to-work documentation, references, and relevant checks are completed before placement.
Temporary Workforce Management
* Coordinate daily bookings and last-minute staffing requirements.
* Manage candidate availability, shift scheduling, and placement confirmations.
* Resolve issues relating to attendance, performance, and client feedback.
* Build strong relationships with temporary workers to maximise retention and availability.
* Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and payroll queries are resolved promptly
Salary description
£30000.00 - £35000.00 per year
