Warehouse Operative
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) early finish on a friday : 12:30 pm
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse by maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders in line with company procedures.
* Receive, check, and safely store incoming deliveries.
* Organise and maintain warehouse stock to ensure products are easy to locate and accessible.
* Monitor and manage stock levels, reporting shortages or discrepancies as required.
* Carry out regular stock counts and assist with inventory control.
* Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring orders are correctly labelled and packaged.
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Operate warehouse equipment and machinery where authorised and trained.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
* Must drive due to the location
