We're recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join BMS Performance's Engineering & Technical recruitment division in our Bristol office.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new recruitment partnerships with engineering and technical businesses that meet a clearly defined ideal customer profile. This means you'll be focusing your time on companies that have been well researched and are genuinely worth prospecting. Using an incredible suite of technology, alongside your own expertise, you'll execute a targeted business development strategy with a focus on quality rather than volume, engaging hiring managers, engineering leaders, operations directors, HR teams and senior decision-makers to build long-term recruitment partnerships.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from winning new business through to developing and growing client relationships. You'll benefit from a strong database of prospect accounts to target, alongside regular inbound opportunities. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and rewarding role that offers significant scope for career progression and personal development within one of the UK's leading specialist recruitment businesses.
We are looking for the following skills, attributes and experience:
2+ years' B2B sales experience where you have managed the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing business
Experience of growing revenue through account development
Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques
Naturally curious with the ability to think critically
High level of coachability and a genuine desire for continuous self-improvementPackage
Up to £35K-£50K basic salary (dependent on experience)
Uncapped bonus scheme with average OTE of £10K in year one, £15K in year two and £30K+ in year three
