Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Hildenborough, Tonbridge, Kent
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours across four or five days
We are recruiting a warm, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an early years setting in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge.
This is a full-time opportunity offering the flexibility to work 40 hours across either four or five days. You will join an established team focused on providing children with a safe, nurturing and engaging environment in which they can learn and develop.
The role
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children
* Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Observing, assessing and recording children’s development
* Working effectively within the EYFS framework
* Acting as a key person and building trusted relationships with families
* Supporting children’s individual needs, interests and development
* Maintaining a safe, welcoming and stimulating room environment
* Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the nursery
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - About you
To be considered, you must have:
* A full and relevant Level 3 early years or childcare qualification
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* A good understanding of the EYFS
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
* A caring, reliable and positive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £28,000 and £30,000, depending on experience.
