We are recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our client in Cumbernauld. This role involves the delivery and collection of waste around Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Details:
* This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position
* £16.50 per hour
* Average shift times are 06:30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
Requirements of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
* Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
* Digital tachograph card.
* Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Role of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
* Safely operate an LGV2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect waste in Glasgow and nearby areas.
* Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
* Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
* Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety standards.
