How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Maintain and regularly update programme schedules, ensuring changes, delays and completed works are accurately reflected.
Prepare, issue and track job packs, ensuring required documentation, permissions and compliance information are in place before works commence.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including job information, timesheets, installation evidence and completion documentation.
Follow up outstanding documentation with surveyors, installers and contractors and escalate persistent issues where required.
Support the preparation and collation of MCS, grant and funder-related documentation ahead of submission deadlines.
Ensure project records are complete, accurate and readily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.
Escalate customer concerns or complaints promptly to the appropriate Project Manager.
Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
Produce regular project and programme progress reports covering scheduled, completed and outstanding works.
Maintain accurate project data and ensure information is consistent across relevant systems.
Support Project Managers with data, reports and administrative packs for client meetings, project reviews, tenders and funder reporting.
Identify discrepancies or gaps in project information and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Assist with the preparation of project tenders, including the collation of supporting documentation, method statements and pricing information.
Support the mobilisation of new projects and programmes by establishing job tracking, documentation and reporting processes.
Assist Project Managers with general project administration throughout the project lifecycle, from mobilisation through to completion and handover.Person Specification:
Previous experience in project coordination, project support or project administration.
Experience within construction, installation, engineering, property, retrofit or renewable energy would be advantageous.

Excellent attention to detail, particularly when dealing with project records and compliance documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A professional and confident approach when dealing with customers, contractors and internal teams.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
The ability to learn and use project management and job-tracking systems quickly.
A proactive approach to identifying scheduling conflicts, resource issues and potential project delays.
The ability to remain calm and methodical when managing a high volume of live projects and changing priorities.Salary & Benefits:
