The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
As part of the on‑site engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of production equipment.
Key duties include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns
Diagnosing faults across both electrical and mechanical systems
Working with PLC-controlled equipment, drives, motors, sensors, and pneumatics
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Updating maintenance activities within a CMMS system
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site standards
Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams
About You
We're looking for a proactive and motivated engineer who enjoys working in a modern manufacturing environment.
Essential:
Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
Confident with fault-finding and PPM activities
A professional, team‑focused approachDesirable:
Experience with PLC fault finding or automation systems
Familiarity with CMMS software
Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
Working Hours
Rotating shifts:
06:00 - 14:30
14:30 - 23:00Fridays:
06:00 - 12:00
12:00 - 18:00✅ No night shifts
