They are seeking an experienced Product Systems Design Engineering Product Specialist to lead the design, integration and validation of electronic hardware systems across a range of advanced products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing design decisions and collaborating across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead component and subsystem design concept development and optimisation.

* Design and integrate electronic hardware including sensors, control units, harnesses, panels and support structures.

* Deliver detailed design reviews and communicate design intent to cross-functional teams.

* Translate stakeholder requirements into robust, verifiable engineering solutions.

* Apply engineering principles to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability and serviceability.

* Lead design validation activities including risk assessments and engineering analysis.

* Support product issue resolution through structured problem-solving methodologies.

* Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.

* Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within project teams.

* Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, quality and programme management functions.

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

* Significant experience at Senior or Lead Engineer level.

* Strong mechanical design and systems integration experience.

* Proven track record of technical problem solving and sound engineering judgement.

* Experience with CAD modelling and engineering analysis tools.

* Knowledge of Creo is preferred.

* Experience with Creo Cabling, Windchill and MS Project would be advantageous.

* Strong communication, stakeholder management and project leadership skills.

* Ability to manage ambiguity and work effectively within complex engineering environments.
