About the Role
As a Midday Supervisor in Doncaster, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils remain safe, happy, and engaged during lunchtime.
You will supervise children in the dining hall, playground, and around the school, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting a safe and inclusive environment.
This role is also a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience within schools, particularly if you are considering progressing into a Teaching Assistant role or a career in education.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall and playground
* Encourage positive play, inclusion, and good behaviour
* Support younger children with meals and routines where required
* Manage minor incidents in line with school policies
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
* Follow safeguarding procedures and report concernsCandidate Requirements
Experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar setting desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, patient, and reliable approach
* Ability to work well as part of a team
