These schools are committed to delivering high-quality education, nurturing positive learning environments, and supporting students to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
We are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors for a variety of short-term and long-term opportunities, with the potential for permanent positions for the right candidates. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, maintain effective classroom management, and support students' learning and progress. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience across a diverse range of secondary school settings while making a positive contribution to students' educational journeys.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively
• A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach with a commitment to safeguarding
