Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Northampton seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from June 2026 or September 2026. This is a full-time position, with a strong preference for a permanent appointment, although fixed-term contracts or long-term supply roles will also be considered.

Role Overview:
Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 available for suitable candidates
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Differentiating effectively to support learners of all abilities and ensure strong progress
Working collaboratively within the Maths department to develop schemes of work, resources, and assessments
Supporting students in preparing for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable) examinations
Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment activities or Maths interventions where appropriateWho You Are:
A qualified Maths teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge
Confident in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
Able to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching to meet student needs
Committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement
A team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative department
Suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with full induction and mentoring support availableWhat We Offer:
