Long-Term Supply | Potential Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time
Simply Education are currently working with a primary school seeking an experienced and resilient SEN Teacher to join their Communication and Interaction Unit on a long-term basis, with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The unit currently supports 7 EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils with a range of additional needs, within a provision that has capacity for up to 10 pupils.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is confident creating a structured, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
The successful SEN Teacher will:
Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly communication and interaction needs
Ideally have experience within an SEN unit, specialist provision or a primary setting with a strong SEND focus
Be confident managing behaviour and maintaining clear, consistent boundaries
Be patient, nurturing and emotionally resilient
Adapt learning to meet a wide range of individual needs
Build strong relationships with pupils while maintaining high expectations
Work effectively with support staff and other professionals
Be able to create a calm, structured and purposeful classroom environmentThis role would suit:
An experienced SEN Teacher, EYFS Teacher or primary teacher with significant SEN experience who is looking for a rewarding long-term position where they can make a genuine difference.
