This company deal with a variety of projects including, retail, commercial, healthcare and education developments from start to finish.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
The Role of the Project Manager:
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from pre-start through to practical completion and handover.
Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
Developing and managing project programmes.
Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
Managing procurement and subcontractor packages.
Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Chairing and attending project meetings.
Managing project risks, issues and opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.
Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project.
Working closely with commercial, design and operational teams.
Providing regular project updates to senior management.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven main contractor background with:
Proven experience delivering construction projects for a main contractor.
Experience taking projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Strong knowledge of construction, programming, procurement and project delivery.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong commercial awareness.
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
Relevant construction qualification or degree.
SMSTS and CSCS.
Full UK driving licence.
