Head of App Development (Flutter/Dart) | Startup
We’re hiring a Head of App Development to take full ownership of building and leading our mobile app at a critical early stage. This is not a corporate role this is a zero-to-one build, where you set the standard, shape the product, and drive execution.
Wild Spirit Global is a startup building products focused on performance, wellbeing, and real world impact. We are currently developing a charity focused app, with a long term goal of launching our own in platform charity initiative centred on transparent, high impact giving.

Your Role
You will:
- Lead the technical direction of the app
- Review and guide existing developers’ work
- Provide code feedback and enforce standards
- Help define and implement app architecture (Flutter/Dart)
- Ensure the team is building efficiently and correctly
- Bring clarity and structure where needed
You are not expected to do everything yourself but you must be able to step in, assess, and lead properly
Requirements
- Strong experience with Flutter & Dart
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture (MVVM, MVC, etc.)
- Experience reviewing code and mentoring developers
- Ability to bring structure to early-stage projects
- Comfortable working in a startup environment (ambiguity, speed, iteration)
