The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As a Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:
Responsible for the effective repair, maintenance and improvement of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic elements of the production plant
To assist in the development of predictive and planned maintenance systems for all production equipment and the implementation of those systems
Carry out daily routine checks; lubrication, PPM's
Support the manufacturing process by responding in a timely manner to equipment breakdowns
Carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults
Fault find in an effective and efficient manner whilst utilising the various machines relevant documentation
Establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and engineering utilities team with a collaborative approach to problem solving
Ensuring that machinery is maintained, and repaired to a high standard
Train and motivate production teams to improve plant and equipment understanding
To carry out all responsibilities and practices with the aim of producing food safely and to required internal & external specifications within a HACCP frameworkHours of work:
Monday to Friday
(Week 1) 6am - 2pm (Week 2) 2pm - 10pm
1 week in 6 you will be required to work a Saturday and Sunday but have the Monday and Tuesday off the following week
Saturday - 6am - 2pm Sunday - 7am - 3pm
Suitable Candidates:
Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer. Qualified to NVQ Level 3
ONC / HNC in Engineering - or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
Experience with electrical & mechanical maintenance - FMCG manufacturing
Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations
