Job role
Chiaroscuro is looking for an experienced freelance pattern cutter to support the development of a womenswear evening wear project. The role involves translating an existing design concept into a clean, production-ready pattern, with a strong focus on fit, construction, and garment development.
Scope
• Pattern development from existing design and technical information
• Creation of a production-ready pattern
• Development sample/toile to assess fit and construction
• Collaboration throughout the fitting and development process
• Technical input where required to achieve the desired result
Requirements
• Experience in womenswear pattern cutting
• Strong understanding of fit and garment construction
• Experience developing fitted garments
• Ability to work from technical information and design references
• Good communication and organised workflow
• Ability to provide clear timelines and project milestones

Location - London preferred, although remote collaboration may be considered.
