I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing social housing contractor based in Dudley / Wolverhampton, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes.
This is a great opportunity to join a stable business with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands and long-term contracts with housing associations and local authorities.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, including:

Planned maintenance works
*
Internal & external refurbishments
*
Kitchen and bathroom replacements
*
Reroofing programmes
*
Voids and occupied refurbishments
Key duties will include:
*
Cost control and commercial reporting
*
Preparing and agreeing valuations
*
Managing subcontractor accounts
*
CVRs and final accounts
*
Procurement and cost forecasting
*
Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance
About You
My client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a social housing environment, ideally with:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS within social housing / maintenance
*
Strong knowledge of planned works and refurbishment projects
*
Commercially astute and detail-focused
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
