The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term nuclear project in Cumbria, supporting cost management activities within a highly regulated and safety‑critical environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial data is accurate, controlled, and reported in line with project and governance requirements.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Maintaining and updating cost reports, trackers, and financial records in line with project controls procedures
- Processing invoices, purchase orders, and cost data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed processes
- Supporting cost forecasting, budget monitoring, and variance analysis for project teams
- Liaising with commercial, finance, and project stakeholders to resolve cost queries and discrepancies
- Assisting with audits, governance checks, and periodic cost reporting for internal and external review
- Previous experience in a cost, commercial, or financial administration role within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Strong numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Excel and project or financial management systems
- Experience working in regulated environments such as nuclear, defence, or energy is beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
