About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to work on behalf of our client at a welcoming residential care home in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated care professionals looking for flexible temporary work with competitive pay.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life while delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.
* Assisting residents with mobility and daily living activities.
* Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
* Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
* Promoting independence whilst ensuring residents' safety and wellbeing.
* Recording and reporting any changes in residents' health or behaviour.
* Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and company policies.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Care Assistant within a residential or nursing care setting.
* A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
* Right to work in the UK.
