The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for you as Beverage & Food Supervisor- Club Lounge!
What are my responsibilities?
As Beverage & Food Supervisor in Club Lounge you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the B&F for in-room dining and club lounge, ensuring guests enjoy exceptional service and memorable experiences. You will be maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth service. You lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence. You coordinate with your manager to ensure smooth service, manage stock and schedules, and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety and guest satisfaction across all areas.
Lead the daily operations of your B&F outlets, ensuring everything runs smoothly from morning to night.
Maintain a clear overview of service flow, anticipating guest needs and adapting to peak moments with confidence.
Oversee cash handling, POS operations and end-of-shift reconciliations.
Support in menu development, promotions and activations that bring creativity and local flavor to our guests’ experience.
Monitor guest satisfaction during service and handle feedback or complaints with professionalism and flair.
Handle essential administrative tasks like scheduling and email communication.
Supervise and support the team during your shift, keeping the overview and energy alive.
Coach, train and inspire ambassadors to deliver our brand standards with style.
Assist in inventory management, including stock control, ordering and waste minimization.
Foster teamwork and communication across the Food & Beverage department to ensure a seamless guest journey.
Fulfil other reasonable job duties as instructed by the manager.
What are we looking for?

· Passionate about beverages, cocktails and hospitality, with a curiosity to explore new trends and flavours.
· A natural people-person who builds warm connections with both guests and colleagues.
· Confident in leading a team on shift and with strong organizational skills.
· Someone with a proactive attitude who thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment.
· Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role is a plus.
· Can communicate fluently in English and preferably Dutch
· Eligible to work in the Netherlands

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new lobby bar, bakery & restaurant and a rooftop bar & terrace.
The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference centre will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
