Spotlight is our Visibility Engine for SOUS Merchants, and the start of the customer journey: GEO, listings optimisation, review management, local SEO, and discovery analytics, all designed to become the default growth layer for hospitality businesses.
The Role
This may be one of the more exciting hires of the year at SOUS. You'll be working alongside the founders and own one of the core modules of SOUS from day one.
We’re hiring a Product Owner to own Spotlight end-to-end; from strategy to execution. You will define how millions of diners discover independent F&B brands and how those brands grow their own demand automatically, in the new era of AI.
Tasks
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define the long-term vision for Spotlight as a category-defining visibility platform for restaurants and food & beverage entrepreneurs.
- Translate company strategy into product strategy, roadmap, and OKRs
- Identify and prioritise opportunities across SEO, listings, reviews, AI insights, and discovery
Execution & Delivery
- Own the Spotlight roadmap and backlog, as well as steering the commercial direction of how the product should be build in order to deliver optimal value to our merchants.
- Write product requirements and work closely with engineering and design
- Prioritise based on impact to merchant acquisition, activation, and expansion
Growth & Commercial Impact
- Drive adoption of Spotlight across SOUS merchants and partners (POS, marketplaces, platforms)
- Partner with Growth, Sales, and Partnerships to design upsell and bundling strategies
- Track and optimise key metrics: Spotlight ARPU, activation, retention, and expansion
AI & Data-Driven Product
- Work with data and AI teams to build insights, automation, and recommendations for merchants
- Define merchant-facing analytics and dashboards that show visibility ROI
- Shape the roadmap toward autonomous growth features (e.g., AI-driven listings optimisation)
Stakeholder Leadership
- Align leadership, engineering, design, and commercial teams around Spotlight priorities
- Act as the internal champion for Visibility as a strategic pillar of SOUS
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 2 - 5+ years as a Online Marketing or Product Manager (SaaS, marketplace, growth tech, or data products)
- Proven experience shipping B2B or platform products with measurable business impact
- Strong product sense: ability to translate user problems into scalable systems, deep customer empathy
- Experience in SEO, local search, marketplaces, or discovery platforms
- Experience working with design, engineering, and analytics teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable with ambiguity and startup pace
Nice-to-Have (High Signal)
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven product features or data platforms
- Background in hospitality tech, e-commerce, or fintech platforms
- Experience with product-led growth or SaaS pricing/packaging
