About You

You’ll be joining ClearBank Europe’s Product team as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for ClearBank Europe’s payment rails product portfolio, currently SEPA CT, Instant and Direct Debit, and T2. Reporting to ClearBank Europe’s Head of Product, you’ll be part of a fast‑growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently, since receiving its European banking licence in August 2024.

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and accelerating the growth of ClearBank’s client‑facing product portfolio. This role requires a strong background in and forward‑looking view on European payments and beyond, its regulatory context, and strong communication skills across both internal and external stakeholders.

Together with the Head of Product, you will shape the vision and strategy for your products and ensure their execution. You will also liaise closely with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business, including clients, to ensure fit for purpose products.

You Will Be
  • Responsible for all things product for your product portfolio: defining clear product visions and strategies that align with the bank’s overall objectives, proposing business cases, pricing and go‑to‑market in conjunction with the Sales, Revenue and Communication teams.
  • Owning and driving product delivery for ClearBank Europe, together with Engineering and Operations teams in a quarterly agile prioritisation cadence.
  • Ensuring sound product governance and product risk management.
  • Working in a matrix organisation across Group and local EU departments.
  • Partnering with your manager to set clear objectives and key performance indicators for your product and tracking progress quarterly.
What we are Looking For
  • A motivated and proactive mindset who wants to make a difference and play a key part in growing an exciting business.
  • Proven experience in product management to manage and deliver (payments) products, preferably within a (challenger) bank, fintech, or payments ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of banking regulations that impact payments and account offerings in Europe.
  • Strong analysis, problem‑solving, and idea creation skills, contributing to the design and solution process.
  • Excellent stakeholder management in a fast‑paced environment, while balancing competing demands.
  • Ability to communicate technical and strategic concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working Agile.

Our Hiring Process and What You Can Expect

Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage;

Screening: You’ll spend 30-45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we’ll get it know more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting (if things are taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know that too);

First Interview: You’ll spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and your ways of working at the same time we’ll give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.

Second Interview: This will be a competency‑based interview with one or more members of our team.

Final Stage: You will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45-60 minutes.
