The positionAs Senior Quality Officer, you will be part of the QESHS team working for both the Dutch and overseas sites. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Department in Alkmaar.
What will you do?- Engage with customers to understand quality expectations and ensure our products consistently meet and exceed these standards.
- Safeguard and continuously improve food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain.
- Prepare and support internal and external audits, including GMP+.
- Ensure proper identification, investigation and effective closure of deviations, complaints, CAPAs and root cause analyses.
- Respond to complex QA-related questions from customers and internal stakeholders with clarity and authority.
- MBO/NLQ4/HBO or academic in Food technology or a related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure;
- Strong knowledge of food/ feed safety standards (IFS, BRC, GMP+) and regulations;
- Fluent in English and at least basic Dutch;
- Living in the Alkmaar region.
- An employment contract of 32 to 40 hours per week;
