Employment agency Manpower is looking for a fermentation technician for a company in Delft.
In this role, you work closely with scientists and specialists in multidisciplinary teams, combining hands-on laboratory work with analytical thinking and reporting. As a fermentation technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting fermentations of microbial products such as starter cultures and probiotics
- Analyzing final and intermediate products
- Supporting the fermentation scientist and executing experimental studies efficiently
- Optimizing existing fermentation and downstream processes
- Understanding technical issues and their impact on yield and culture viability
- Collaborating with teams in fermentation, formulation, freeze-drying, application and analysis
- Processing and interpreting experimental data
- Writing experimental reports in English
- Presenting technical data internally
