We are currently seeking a Sewing Teacher to provide one-on-one instruction in hand sewing, machine sewing, garment making, alterations, quilting, or other sewing techniques. Students are matched with you based on your skills, teaching focus, and availability.
Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized sewing lessons for beginners to advanced learners

Teach sewing fundamentals such as stitches, fabric handling, pattern reading, and construction

Support students in developing their own projects—clothing, home decor, accessories, or repairs

Provide guidance and encouragement to help students build confidence and independence

Set and manage your own teaching schedule
Qualifications:

Strong sewing skills and knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques

Good communication and an encouraging, hands-on teaching style

Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience (formal or informal) is a plus
