What are you going to do?
As a TIG Welder, you are responsible for welding stainless steel boxes, which will be used in trucks and trailers. The work involves welding thin sheet metal sheets, up to 1.5 mm thick, so it is important that the welding is done neatly. Your tasks as a TIG Welder include:
- Reading technical drawings
- Preparing sheet metal (stainless steel / aluminium)
- Welding sheet metal with a thickness between 1 mm and 1.5 mm
- Assembling parts
For this job it's important that you already live in The Netherlands! You will work together with about 30 colleagues, and together you'll ensure orders are ready before the deadline. This is a full-time job from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The intention is to offer you a permanent contract.
What do we ask for?- You alreadly live in The Netherlands
- At least 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a TIG Welder (preferably with thin sheet metal)
- Valid welding certification according to ISO 9606-1
- Ability to read and execute technical (3D) drawings
- English speaking
- Available 32-40 hours per week
- Salary between €3050 and €3900 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
- Temporary travel allowance up to €0.25 per km
- Permanent job with the prospect of a permanent contract
