As a Senior Technician Lab Automation you will contribute to the exploration and implementation of state of the art robotics, liquid handling and other automated systems for laboratory processes.
- You will be supporting the implementation of automated systems in combination with lab applications specialized for the protein supply laboratory processes that are critical for the research organization
- With your understanding of automation of biochemical characterization and/or protein purification technologies processes you are responsible for fit-for-purpose script writing for robotics and data processing in close collaboration with the users
- You will execute and ensure the maintenance of various business critical laboratory equipment/robotics
- You contribute to the implementation of (GxP) software applications and systems when there is a need to integrate with automated solutions, in close collaboration with the relevant departments
- You will provide proper documentation of the automated solutions by writing applicable procedures as well as administration in lab notebooks and reports
- You will train and guide the lab users to guarantee the implementation and the correct use of the automated solutions within the organizatio
- You will have contact with vendors to support the design, implementation, maintenance and planning of daily operations of various business critical laboratory equipment/robotics
