About the role

We're looking for a Global App Strategy & Growth Lead, a hands-on, strategic thinker who can turn vision into results. Based in our Benelux HQ in Rotterdam (hybrid), you'll work closely with E-Commerce, Marketing, Product, and Market teams across Europe.
- Define and evolve our group-wide app strategy, balancing long-term vision with commercial impact.
- Create blueprints for campaigns, onboarding, push journeys, and app-exclusive experiences.
- Position the app as a key omnichannel driver, enhancing in-store experiences through digital receipts, loyalty, scanning, and more.
- Act as central owner of app planning and coordination between HQ and local markets.
- Collaborate with Digital Sales, CRM, and Marketing to embed the app into campaigns and revenue steering.
- Propose and activate sales-driving initiatives such as app-only deals, gamified rewards, and personalized journeys.
- Partner with country teams to scale best practices and local innovations.
- Track and analyze key KPIs such as downloads, usage, retention, and app sales share
Your Profile
To be successful in this job you need to have:
- 5-8 years experience in mobile product, growth, digital strategy, or CRM - ideally in retail or consumer-facing industries.
- Proven track record in driving app growth and engagement from feature definition to rollout and iteration.
- Strong operational ownership mindset
- Comfortable navigating between strategic planning and hands-on execution across departments and countries.
- Experience with ASO, mobile campaign logic, and user journey design is a strong plus.
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead alignment across HQ and markets.
