Description:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the SAP transformation project, focusing on
transitioning the organization from the UNV to UNX environment. Your expertise will
ensure seamless data integration, infrastructure optimization, and alignment with
business requirements to empower advanced HR analytics and reporting
capabilities. You will work at the intersection of data analytics, visualization, and HR
core systems.
Technical experience:
Mandatory: SAP BW, SAP BO, UNV/UNX transformation, SAS EG, Oracle, SQL
Preferable: SAP 4HANA, DAX, Python
Business experience:
Mandatory: Prior experience in banking and data analysis
Preferable: Familiarity with HR data environments and HR metrics
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP Data Environment Transformation: Lead the migration from UNV to UNX in
SAP BO, ensuring efficient and accurate data handling throughout the transition.
Optimize SAP BW data structures to align with the UNX framework.
2. Data Sourcing and Management: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from
various SAP systems, including SAP HR, SAP BW, and related Oracle and SQLbased databases. Utilize MS Access and VBA coding for advanced data integration and
manipulation tasks. Perform rigorous validation and testing of data structures to
maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the transformation of existing universes
and queries.
3. Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer: Partner with IT, HR Analytics, and business
teams to ensure the transformation project aligns with organizational goals and
requirements. Provide training and operational support to stakeholders on the UNX
environment, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption. Act as a subject matter
expert, addressing technical questions and troubleshooting issues related to the
transformation. Identify potential errors and report them to the Tribe data hub.
4. Business Requirement Gathering and Translation: Collaborate with internal
stakeholders to understand current and future reporting needs impacted by the
transformation. Translate business requirements into efficient data engineering
solutions tailored to the UNX framework.
5. SAP Reporting and Integration Support: Support the development and optimization
of SAP BO reports in the new UNX environment. Ensure compatibility and integration
with downstream analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI when needed.
