Your scope of work
As a Pricing Analyst, you play a key role in driving the success of MediaMarkt's promotional strategy across the Benelux. By analyzing pricing, promotions, and market developments, you help optimize commercial performance and ensure promotional investments deliver the greatest impact.
Working closely with Category Management, Campaigns, Commercial, Operations, and Analytics teams, you translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. You monitor promotional performance, evaluate pricing effectiveness, and identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, sales, and margin.
Your responsibilities include:
- Analyze pricing, promotional performance, and market developments across the Benelux
- Benchmark pricing against competitors and identify commercial opportunities and risks
- Support Category Managers with data-driven pricing recommendations and promotional insights
- Evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on sales, margin, and competitiveness
- Ensure pricing processes and data quality meet established standards and guidelines
- Act as the first point of contact for pricing-related questions from internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain pricing reports and dashboards to support commercial decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and optimize pricing processes and reporting

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, or another quantitative field
- 2–5 years of experience in pricing, commercial analytics, business analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and/or Looker Studio
- Experience with pricing tools is a plus (e.g. Pricefx)
- Affinity with data, IT systems, and analytical tools; experience with SQL is an advantage
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with different stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
