As a Product Owner at AME, you are responsible for managing the full lifecycle of industrialized products for assigned customers. You act as the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and ensure high quality, cost-effective and compliant series production.
Your tasks:- Defining ramp-up plans and supporting NPI and early production
- Monitoring yields, cycle times and production effectiveness
- Initiating, handling, implementing product change requests
- Assessing impact on cost, quality and planning
- Communicating changes to customers and internal stakeholders
- Managing production and field issues (incl. 8D, Complaint Handling and RMA support)
- Monitoring and continuously improving product quality data and Cost of Goods Sold
- Supporting product-specific audits and inspections
- Managing component obsolescence and product change notifications
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation (e.g. RoHS, REACH)
- Monitoring tooling usage and maintenance
- Owning manufacturing documentation and validating production setups
- Aligning phase‑out planning and archiving product documentation
- HBO level (Bachelor)
- 3–4+ years of experience in a similar high‑tech or manufacturing environment in a operations role close to account management or project management
- Strong stakeholder management, good communicator, customer‑facing experience
- Able to understand technical topics and put them in business context
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus
