What is amazing about this job?You will join a dynamic international team responsible for managing all financial aspects of our headquarters and projects based in the Netherlands. Collaborating closely with finance teams in Germany and the UK, this position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled finance professional to thrive in a young, innovative, and professional environment. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, the finance team is dedicated to continuously improving processes and systems, proactively proposing and implementing enhancements to drive excellence.
The teamThe Dutch Finance team, in addition to the Financial Controller, consists of an Executive Finance Director, three Controllers, one Analyst, one Tax Specialist, and one Accounts Payable Specialist. The Financial Controller will report directly to the Executive Finance Director.
Responsibilities- Consolidation group entities
- Draw up quarterly reports for business units, departments and the group
- Prepare group cash flow analysis + review project cash flows
- Drawing up annual accounts
- Monthly VAT returns and general ledger reconciliations
- Coordinating yearly budget cycle, responsible for executing and reporting group budgets
- Monitoring recharges to various departments and business units
- Coordinating and controlling payments
- Overall control over general ledger and IC reconciliation
- Monitoring IT systems MS Business Central and Exsion Corporate
- Performing intercompany transfers
- Point of contact for:
- Accountant and advisers within the framework of annual accounts work
- the business unit managers regarding financial issues
- the German and the UK finance team regarding reporting and consolidation cycles
- Proactive and pragmatic;
- Team player, able to work independently;

- University degree in economics (preferably RA or RC);
- >8 years' experience in similar position in audit and/or preferably in real estate or a related project-oriented organisation;
- Experience with consolidations and reporting;
- Preferably experience in business or project controlling
- Fluent in Dutch and English is a must have, German language skills is an advantage.
