Your goal as an account manager is to help these customers create the ultimate gifting moment with a custom, personalized gift.
What will you be doing?- You are responsible for developing sales within your markets, with a strong focus on KPIs and targets such as revenue, volume, and margin.
- You build and strengthen relationships with existing clients by encouraging repeat purchases and identifying upselling opportunities, increasing both loyalty and long-term value.
- You guide clients throughout the entire journey, from the very first contact and initial gift idea through to after-sales, where you evaluate the gifting experience together.
- On a monthly basis, you analyze and review performance within your markets together with your team, with a particular focus on your sales funnel and commercial results.
- During quieter periods, you contribute to business projects aimed at improving our processes or marketing efforts.
- You are expected to proactively approach new clients and explore new markets based on identified commercial opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will be part of our E Commerce team, consisting of around 30 colleagues across more than eight nationalities. The B2B team is part of this group and consists of eight colleagues who support all our business customers at YourSurprise via phone and email. It is an international team with colleagues from France, Germany and the Netherlands, and English is the main working language within the team.
Who are you?- You have at least two years of experience in sales and are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
- You have a hands‑on mentality and a proven track record in achieving sales results.
- Negotiating comes naturally to you. You are persuasive and confident in your approach.
- You are flexible and remain calm under pressure.
- You are highly results driven, work well with deadlines and take ownership of your markets.
- With your creativity, you are able to turn every client interaction into an opportunity and come up with the right gifting solution for every situation.
