As an End User Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our users, ensuring smooth operations across hardware, software, and mobility devices. You will play a key role in daily operational support, troubleshooting, inventory planning, and deskside service activities. Your work ensures that employees across the organization have the tools they need—reliable, secure, and configured for productivity.
Your ResponsibilitiesYou will handle a variety of tasks including:
- Managing daily support tickets/queues and acting as the first point of contact for users.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components for end users.
- Troubleshooting Windows workstation and mobility issues.
- Supporting and administering O365 applications.
- Using command-line tools for remote installation and application management.
- Repairing or replacing laptops, desktops, tablets (e.g., iPads).
- Performing system upgrades to align with client standards.
- Installing/upgrading antivirus tools according to security requirements.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues and departments.
- Managing inventory, forecasting hardware needs, and placing orders.
- Handling shipping/receiving, including OEM returns and replacement equipment.
- Receiving and managing vendor equipment deliveries at the deskside support area.
- Maintaining technical documentation and creating knowledge base articles.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow and deskside/end user support roles.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Strong knowledge of end‑user computing and Office applications.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
- Experience with mobility device management and Windows Intune.
- Windows 10/11 OS imaging experience.
