Accent is looking for a C++ Developer to strengthen our core team of software engineers.
As a software engineer at Accent, you will develop in-house trading applications and optimize them for maximum efficiency. You will have the opportunity to propose new ideas and create applications that support our daily trading operations. Working within a small, agile team, you will collaborate closely with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to execute projects quickly.
What You'll Bring- Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (HBO+)
- 3+ years of proficiency in C++ development
- Experience designing and implementing Windows-based applications using the MFC library in MS Visual Studio and GitLab
- Experience in designing and managing MS SQL
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The ability to navigate legacy code and rewrite it when necessary
- A willingness to commit to and deliver time-critical projects
- Experience building large-scale, robust, and highly optimized client-server applications is a plus
- Living in the Netherlands.
